We had a Bank Holiday on Thursday in Germany, so lots of people took the Friday off and we have quite nice weather here!
Yes, we had a BBQ last night and were brave enough to eat outside. When the sun disappeared behind the trees, it was time to get some warm sweaters.
I guess we need to update some of the pages of this site, so that there will be more information about Joe's movies etc. We are a bit slow, but we'll get there at last.

About time I posted again ! Still awaiting this next episode of Heartbeat, well it's May now so it can't be long ! Pity the weather wasn't more May-like ! We had hailstones today.
I keep trying to remember a time when I could sit out in the garden on a summer evening, glass of wine in hand ! It's a Bank Holiday in the UK this weekend probably meaning rain and more rain ! Anyone had a BBQ yet ? The price I pay for being 'up North' I suppose. Still, light mornings and long evenings make me feel a bit summery anyway ! Must apply for passports as I am not going to trust the UK weather this year ! No way !

I feel that I know the US footballer Darren McFadden so well, that I want to put him on my Friends and Family.
So assuming it works in reverse, and that people who might have Darren McFadden on Google alert (or any other of the seemingly countless McFaddens), will get alerts on JM, then this is to let them know that he is one phenomenal actor, and by all accounts hell of a nice guy too. And despite all the flippancy that we often indulge in, well behind it all is the belief that Mr M. is one of the best actors of his generation, with a very creditable list of brilliant performances and some very watchable movies/ series etc.
